BOCA RATON, Fla.:
A pedestrian was
hit by a car, flew through the windshield and landed headfirst
in the passenger seat, where the driver pummeled him when he wouldn't
get out, authorities say.
The driver, 22
year-old Adam Blumhof, pushed the man from the car and sped off
Monday, the victim told police. Hours later, Blumhof was arrested
and was jailed on charges of leaving the scene of an accident,
battery and failure to render aid. The pedestrian, Kenneth DeLeon,
suffered a broken arm and leg and may also have a chip in his
spine.
