Mower mangles woman's
toes Solebury TWP., Pa. -
A 74-year-old woman got her toes mangled after she stepped too close to a lawnmower yesterday afternoon, police said. The woman, whose name was not released, was talking to another woman mowing her lawn on Ephross Circle at about 12:42 p.m. yesterday when the whirling blades of the riding mower caught her toes, Police Chief Richard Mangan said. The Point Pleasent Fire Co. responded and transported the woman to Doylestown Hospital, where she was admitted for treatment. Police are not sure where the woman lives and what her relationship is to the woman riding the mower. "With that type of injury, the most important thing is to get her to the hospital," Mangan said. |
