A 73-year-old man died yesterday after he lost control of his car and crashed through the window of a second grade classroom.

None of the 22 children in the class were seriously injured. The 7- and 8-year-old students were out of their desks on the other side of the room looking at a pet guinea pig when the car driven by Mason Gene Martin crashed into the room at Grant Elementary School.
