MAN DIES AFTER
KICK FROM ROLLER COASTER RIDER SANTA CLARA, Calif.:
A 25-year-old man died yesterday after being struck in the head by a woman whizzing by in a roller coaster at Paramount's Great America Theme Park. The man jumped over a fence into a restricted area to retrieve a hat he had lost while riding "Top Gun," park officials told KSTS-TV. A woman accidentally kicked the man when her car passed him. Roller coaster cars hang from the track above them and passengers are seated with their legs dangling. The man died at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. The woman was treated for leg injuries. |
