For the anime fan looking for a nonstop barrage of bloodshed and mayhem, Kite, by Yasuomi Umetsu (Robot Carnival) is a cool little flick to check out. Explodding bullets, an assession in a Catholic schoolgirl outfit, and victims who piss themselves makes for a fun ride.

We follow Sawa, a pretty young thang in catholic girl get ups (lotsa flashes of white panties as she fights), who happens to be a lethal assassin. Years earlier her parents were slayed in a brutal double homicide, leading to the detective on the case taking her in. Angered by the justice system the detective trains Sawa to be a cold-blooded vigilante, which she excels at by taking her victims by surprise with her cute, girlish looks.

Sawa's weapons of choice include a high tech gun with bullets that detonate seconds after being lodged in the body, (A head shot victim will start to shake than his head will blast apart), long spikes which protrude from her wrists, and coin sized bombs that take out whole buildings. The amazing centerpiece, a hit in the men's bathroom, is anime at its chaotic finest as arms are blasted off, throw up flies from beaten persons, victims piss themselves and arms and legs are mutilated.
