"Heidnik's
House of Horrors." A rarity. Released on the obscure "Suspiria"
label and pressed on blood-red vinyl, this punk rock tribute to
killer Gary Heidnik features a melody that can best be described
as "primitive." But how can you hate a song with lyrics
like "He had a basement straight out of hell / Marquis de
Sade would think it was swell"?

A to Z Encyclopedia of Serial Killers
The Serial Killers
ode to horrific madman Gary Heidnik is indeed a rarity, a sick
little ditty that you can't help to laugh at even though you know
it's wrong.
If you had missed
the horrific story of Gary Heidnik I'll sum it up for ya.
Gary Heidnik was
a self appointed bishop of his own church. One night a woman escaped
from his basement in Philadelphia and alerted the authorities
to what was going down at the "House of Horrors." The
police discovered three naked, beaten woman shackled to different
areas of Heidnik's basement. The police would discover the woman
had been starved, raped and beaten mercilessly. They also discovered
that two other woman had been murdered in the basement by Heidnik.
One was thrown into a dug out hole which was filled with water.
Heidnik electrocuted her in the murky pit. Another woman he had
left hanging from shackles for over a week had also expired. Heidnik
then hacked up her body, mixed it with dog food, then served it
to the other woman in his captivity.
Upon further inspection
police discovered human remains in his oven as well as his refrigerator
and freezer. In court Heidnik offered a hilarious defense. He
claimed the woman were already in the basement when he moved into
the house!
The Serial Killer's
properly sum up his story in about two minutes with such observations
as:
"Cruising
through the city in a Cadillac/Some poor ho tied up in the back."
Check it out if
you can find it! (there was only 1000 made).
